Notes: This type has a confusing history. Governor Bacon signed a bill on February 13, 1941 allowing for the production and use of license plates for state-level Representatives and Senators. No laws are known regarding federal-level legislators or judges, yet plates for these positions are known from as early as 1939. Displayed below are plates observed with the U.S. Senator legend; plates with the Congress/Congressional are located on the Congress/Congressional page.
